Chorus is launching in Canada on iOS first. Availability may expand over time, and the App Store will reflect the current supported territories.

We only suggest people who fit your basic compatibility settings — such as age range, who you're interested in meeting, and distance when both people have a location that supports it. Among those people, we rank suggestions using signals like how close you are in age, how far apart you are, and how similar your music taste is (for example, overlap in artists and genres). A fuller profile and connected music data generally improve the experience.

No. A Spotify account is not required to use Chorus. Connecting your music data can help personalize your experience, but it's optional.

You can send a like, sometimes with a short message. If the interest is mutual, you'll match and can start chatting. The free tier may enforce a daily like limit; upgrading to premium can remove that cap.

In chat you can share music — for example, sending tracks — and discover concerts you might want to talk about or attend together. The thread isn't limited to plain text.

Sign-up uses phone number verification, so there's no long password to remember in the usual flow. Standard SMS and data rates from your carrier may apply.

You choose an area or place — for example, by searching for a city. The app may store a label and, when you pick a place from suggestions, coordinates that support distance-based matching. Chorus offers an optional paid subscription that unlocks benefits such as unlimited likes, the ability to see everyone who liked you (without blur), and extra filters like favorite genres. Plans and prices are shown in the app.

Apple (or Google on Android) bills you and handles refunds and cancellations according to their store rules. Cancellations typically remain active until the end of the current paid period. You can manage your subscription from your device's account settings.
